| Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 |
| The SAS 70 is an auditing and accounting standard by which any given business or organization handles its services in relation to their customers. A service auditor will determine if a service organization complies with the standard by assessing and then reporting on the controls in place. A Type I audit reports on the accounting status of an organization once per year, while a Type II audit has no limitation on frequency, and could be performed a number of times in any given fiscal year. |
